Meet BrianBerni and Alexa Bigwarfe

My name is Brian Berni. I have been around books all my life, first as a researcher, then as an expert book marketer. Through my agency, I have helped hundreds of authors sell more books. I know the ins and outs of running an author business, and I know how challenging it can get. These days we need to wear countless 'hats': accountant, marketer, social media manager, etc. Can't we just write?
Busy Bee is my answer to that question.



My name is Alexa Bigwarfe. I am the founder and CEO of Write|Publish|Sell and host of the Women in Publishing Summit. I provide events, training opportunities, tools, resources, and content to guide and educate authors and industry professionals through the process of publishing and marketing books. My community also serves as a place for encouragement and support in this journey.

How much does BusyBee cost?

BusyBee is completely free for authors. Payment arrangements are made by authors and assistants on their own terms. Once an author finds an assistant they want to work with, BusyBee is no longer responsible for any aspect of the projects. Our role is to help authors find the best help for their needs!

What should I do if I don't hear from an assistant?

Let us know if you never hear back from a provider you requested information from. There may have been a glitch on their end, and we'd like to know if we have anyone that's unresponsive. However, since you're engaging directly with them, we have little control over what happens next, but we're happy to reach out to them if you're not getting anything back. Also, check your spam, sometimes those emails wind up there!
