Hi! I'm Tamara (Tami) Dever, founder and creative director of TLC Book Design. We're a small team of designers who adore working with authors and publishers committed to quality publishing. We offer editorial, cover and interior design, children's book design, eBook formatting, printing, and publishing coaching. One of my superpowers is providing encouraging self-publishing coaching for our treasured clients who become more like family.
TLC has been in business for over 30 years and our books have received nearly 300 design and publishing awards. I'm also an author, so I've walked in shoes similar to yours. My books include the author guide/journal, “My Publishing Journey,” as well as several retro music trivia books. This is such a needed service for authors. I've used VA/PA services from other well-known freelance platforms, but they can be overwhelming and daunting. Looking for an assistant who has some knowledge of the author world (such as Bookbub Ads) is like looking for a needle in a haystack with these larger platforms.
