A former teacher with a master's degree, books are now my life, and eyeball-numbing nitpickery is my specialty. Yes, I have actually read the entire Chicago Manual of Style. Oxford/serial commas will be required. I take on projects from picture books and middle grade (kidlit) to true crime, women's fiction, dark romance, and everything in between. However, horror and gore or bad things happening to animals or children are not in my wheelhouse. I generally don't do heavy developmental editing, so the manuscript should be through with that stage before I take over.

This is such a needed service for authors. I've used VA/PA services from other well-known freelance platforms, but they can be overwhelming and daunting. Looking for an assistant who has some knowledge of the author world (such as Bookbub Ads) is like looking for a needle in a haystack with these larger platforms.
