Editing
I am a professional copyeditor and proofreader dedicated to working collaboratively and transparently with my clients, correcting all errors while enhancing each writer’s unique voice. My wordsmithing expertise is grounded in my editing certificate and linguistics degree from the University of Washington. Nine years of experience in storytelling-based marketing and event planning gave me the added skill of crafting concise, compelling text that preserves the writer's voice.
I edit literary fiction, general nonfiction, historical fiction, horror/paranormal, and cookbooks. I am called to work with writers who want to share unique and impactful stories with readers—whether through a memoir charting a remarkable life, a novel that reaches into the past or future to find meaning, or a cookbook that weaves culture and food together.

Audiobook Production
Audiobook manuscript preparation: I offer manuscript preparation services to get authors ready to narrate their own audiobooks. This service includes marking manuscripts for dialogue, pacing notes, pronunciation, and more. You'll end up with a manuscript that looks like what professional narrators use for their recording sessions.
Audio proofing: I also offer audio proofing services for authors narrating their own audiobooks or hiring professional narrators. I listen to the audio files on 1x speed to look for mispronunciations, misspoken dialogue, missing words, and pacing/timing issues. You receive a detailed report with a description of each error plus the timestamp.

Event planning
Lean on my experience organizing engaging, professional, and unique events to generate excitement from your target readers and boost sales. I can provide event coordination and logistics support for writers planning in-person book launch and book signing events. Tasks include managing event registration, coordinating with venues and vendors, developing event budgets, and more.
