Writers are mavericks who dare themselves and readers to be adventurers, to take chances, to better themselves through language and stories.
All writers need supporters and I am here to champion your work, cheer you on, guide you through your developmental and sentence structure challenges, and help you find the perfect spots for those pesky punctuation marks.
I am a big fan of all forms of creative storytelling—fiction and nonfiction. Digging into sentence structure, character development, pacing, world-building, dialogue, plot, point of view, and a writer’s unique voice is exciting to me. I also love helping writers use grammar and mechanics in ways that serve their stories.
I’ve been fortunate to work with wonderful writers and on fascinating projects, including BORROWED TIME: SURVIVORS OF NAZI TEREZÍN REMEMBER by Dennis Carlyle Darling, HARWOOD CENTENNIAL: 100 WORKS FOR 100 YEARS by Nicole Dial-Kay and Emily Santhanam, and CURRENT OF DARKNESS: DESIRE AND DECEIT IN THE GILDED AGE by Robert Brighton.
I also love making photographs and being out in nature.

Find your dream assistant now

This is such a needed service for authors. I've used VA/PA services from other well-known freelance platforms, but they can be overwhelming and daunting. Looking for an assistant who has some knowledge of the author world (such as Bookbub Ads) is like looking for a needle in a haystack with these larger platforms.

I had been dragging my feet on hiring a more permanent VA/PA for so long because I didn't want to have to deal with looking through that proverbial haystack, but Busy Bee makes it so easy to find the assistant you need for the work you need as an author. Thank you, Brian!!
